Roland out in France

A picture reaches me today of an England flag being proudly displayed at the Euro's by Charlton fans bearing the legend "Roland Out." I hope he gets to see it.

My only other observation is that the lads from south-east London look like they have teamed up with unfashionable like-minds from QPR and Fulham, and that there is a natural order of flag sizing according to the size if your club. Well, at least the traditonal size of our club in respect to the others.

  1. You teaser Dave.....!

For a nano-second I thought that you meant that Roland was out in France.... scouting at the Euro's with the thought of bringing in one or two of the squads competing out there...!
Mind you, knowing his track record we'd probably end up with one of the non-playing members of the Albanian squad - mind you, that would make a change from the Belgians....

On a more serious note it's good to see Slade getting some players in with proven League experience ... though I'm shocked at the positive comments about Meire's role in facilitating the latest deals...
I suppose with no Public Relations staff left at the Valley she wrote the news-briefs herself... cynical?? Moi?? The very thought......
